Directions to the SS Ocean Lab!

The Sea Star Ocean Classroom is located in Oceanside Harbor, in Oceanside, CA, and is very close to many major Southern California freeways.

From Southbound I-5^*:

EXIT - Oceanside Harbor Drive - TURN RIGHT onto Harbor Drive.

From Northbound I-5^*:

EXIT - Oceanside Harbor Drive - GO WEST, back under freeway on Harbor Drive

From End of Highway 76 and Coast Highway, Oceanside:

Go North (right) on Coast Highway for about 1/2 mile, at Harbor Drive, turn left.

GO STRAIGHT ON HARBOR DRIVE FOR ABOUT 1/4 MILE

Make a LEFT a the "T" intersection. You are now entering the Harbor.
STAY TO THE LEFT at the traffic island
Travel about 100 yards, look for the JOE'S CRAB SHACK RESTAURANT on your right.
The Sea Star is docked IN FRONT of JOE'S CRAB SHACK
Pull into the Restaurant's south parking lot (near Helgren's Sportfishing) to offload passengers, but please note that this is only 2 hour parking!
Proceed across the street through the vehicle tunnel into the 24 hour free parking area

BUS PARKING

Offload passengers and then proceed to adjacent Free Parking area by returning to Harbor Drive, exiting the Harbor by turning right at the top of the hill, then turning right on Camelo near the rear entrance of parking lot. DO NOT ATTEMPT to go through the vehicle tunnel.

* - I-5 is easily accessible by a number of major roadways, including I-15, I-405, SR76, SR78, I-805 and more.

Please do not board the Sea Star until instructed to do so by the Sea Star crew. Thank you very much.
